Miss Marissa

Region Owner

Instructor

with CKMN since 2026!

Marissa is a Buffalo native, having attended elementary school at Windermere followed by the Amherst central schools. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Childhood Education and Social Studies from Buffalo State University, holds a Master of Business Administration from D’Youville University, and is currently working on her Doctorate in Leadership and Policy at Niagara University.

Her love of movement began at a young age as a dancer (Sherry Martin School of Dance) and gymnast (Gymnastics Unlimited). Her athletic career continued as a three-sport athlete through middle and high school with a deep love of running that culminated in the completion of her first half marathon in 2018. After sustaining an injury, she pivoted to low impact and mindful movement, where she began to truly appreciate the value of careful, intentional, and functional movement.

Bringing CKMN to life in the Buffalo Region is profoundly important to  Marissa and for the children in her community. The portfolio of class offerings underpins the importance of cognitive growth, discipline, and confidence, while building foundational skills of strength, flexibility, and coordination that will set the stage for lifelong athletes. Introducing dance and movement programs at a young age have positive physical and psychosocial impacts for both young boys and girls.

Marissa is married with three children and has a combined total of two nephews and three nieces – therefore, she understands the pressures and time constraints that families deal with as a byproduct of keeping their children involved with extracurriculars. That is why she is so passionate about offering on-site classes for children while they are already at school and daycare! We want to help keep your family time at home intact!

Miss Marissa looks forward to meeting you, your family, and all of your little movers!

Miss Ena, Western NY

Born and raised in Buffalo, Ena is an avid Buffalo Bills fan, always cheering for her team! She has been passionate about movement from a young age, beginning with dance and has spent many years exploring various sports. Having coached preschool soccer in the past, she is thrilled to share her love for dance and yoga with young learners.

Alongside her teaching, she has also gained experience working with multiple dance competitions over the years. When she's not teaching or creating, she loves to hike and explore the outdoors. Miss Ena says there’s nothing quite like finding peace and inspiration in nature.
