Miss Rebecca

Rebecca Davidson is a lifelong performing artist and movement educator with over 18 years of professional experience in dance, musical theatre, and yoga. She has performed and choreographed across the country in ballet companies, regional theatre productions, and contemporary dance projects. Her classical ballet foundation comes from Vaganova training at the Ballet Academy of Baltimore, complemented by experience in jazz, tap, lyrical, and character dance. In musical theatre, Rebecca has performed in and choreographed numerous productions, bringing storytelling to life through movement.
As a certified RYT-500+ yoga teacher, Rebecca integrates mindful movement, breathwork, and body awareness into her teaching, creating a supportive and engaging environment for young dancers. She believes in building strong, flexible bodies while fostering creativity, confidence, and joy in movement. Her classes for children ages 3-10 blend the discipline of dance with the playful, exploratory nature of yoga, helping students develop coordination, musicality, and self-expression.
Rebecca is deeply passionate about making dance, theatre, and movement education inclusive and accessible for all children. Whether in the ballet studio or on the yoga mat, she strives to nurture a love of movement in every student, meeting them where they are and encouraging them to shine.
Miss Angelica

Angelica is the Artistic Director of Equilibrium Dance Academy and Equilibrium Dance Company. She is a Philadelphia native who studied dance at Temple University in the Boyer College of Music and Dance where she received her BFA (2012) and MA (2015) degrees in dance. At Temple University, Angelica concentrated in Modern, Jazz and Improvisational Dance. Along with continuing her dance education, Angelica has taught at many dance studios in the Philadelphia area and performed for numerous dance companies, such as Philly Sirens, ContempraDance Company and Steven Welsh/SWERVE. She has also performed on The Q Show featured on FOX 29. Angelica’s intense tap dance training began at the Young Performers Theater Camp where she took tap class every day for six weeks during the summer. She attended this dance program for six years. Her training continued with such notable teachers as Jacob Guzman and David Guzman, who both starred in the Broadway musical Newsies. Angelica has showcased her tap skills at the Philadelphia Fringe Festival and for the Garden State Festival. She has choreographed dances that were featured at Temple University, Disney World, Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, Spring UP Dance Festival, Flair Festival and the ETC Performance Series.
Miss Naomi
Instructor

Naomi (also pronounced NOMI) is excited to join CKMN! She has a background in teaching yoga to all ages, including toddlers and preschoolers as a lead teacher. She is a trilingual certified yoga teacher who loves to incorporate imagination, music, and language with creative movement.
For children, building strength, flexibility, grace, coordination and balance means playing, exploring, experimenting, and focusing attention on our bodies in fun and safe ways that let out precious energy to let in a nutritious and soulful sense of self confidence, accomplishment, and calm. That sense of being “here and now” is what she loves most about what she does.

Miss Kerry
Instructor

Kerry grew up in the Philadelphia suburbs, dancing competitively at multiple studios. She went on to earn her BFA in Contemporary Dance from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts, deepening her knowledge of styles such as Ballet, Modern, and West African.
After graduation, she moved back to Philadelphia, where she began working as a freelance dancer, dance instructor, and barre instructor. She’s been lucky to perform with companies such as Brian Sanders’ JUNK and Tony winner Omari Wiles’ company, Les Ballet Afrik, based in NYC.
Kerry found a passion for street dance and freestyle through Urban Movement Arts, where she discovered voguing from Rylee Prodigy. For the past four years, she has been traveling to compete in freestyle dance battles as a member of the House of Oricci. She has won many major competitions over the years and is making her mark in the category of New Way Vogue, thanks to amazing mentors such as Edwin Xtravaganza.
Kerry is super excited to fuse her backgrounds in technical dance styles, freestyle, and fitness to inspire children through CKMN!
