Since the age of seven, I have cultivated a lifelong passion for dance. My mother enrolled me in dance classes as a means of addressing my pigeon-toed and knocked-kneed gait, unaware that this activity would ignite a profound passion within me!

 

Over the past three decades, I have dedicated my career to teaching dance. Initially, I collaborated with my ballet teacher and mentor in the Rochester area, where I established a solid foundation of technique applications for young dancers. During our military deployment to Misawa, Japan, I spearheaded and managed a dance and gymnastics program for four years. Upon our return to Rochester, I continued my teaching journey, instructing both recreational and competitive dance classes at local studios.

 

In 2009, I joined Creative Kids Dance, where I have since dedicated myself to teaching dance and movement classes in daycare centers. This role has allowed me to witness the transformative power of dance on young minds.

 

In 2011, I started at Bright Raven Gymnastics, where I currently serve as a coach for their competitive team. Over the years, my responsibilities have expanded to include choreographing floor routines, and accompanying the to competitions. I am certified by USA Gymnastics and hold Safe Sport training.

 

My mornings are filled with the enthusiasm of young students eager to learn and grow, while my evenings are dedicated to guiding athletic pursuits and fostering aspirations for further advancement.

 

I am deeply honored to be a part of each student’s journey, witnessing their progress and development not only in dance but also in their social skills.
